Set within the natural landscape of Skroponeria, this yoga retreat is conceived as a place of calm and reconnection with nature. Its architecture responds sensitively to the topography, adapting to the contours of the land while drawing materiality and color from the site itself.
Stone and plaster define the character of the retreat, creating a dialogue between texture and softness. Natural, locally sourced materials, soft tones, and gentle curves foster a sense of flow and inner serenity — architecture that “breathes” with the landscape.
The complex includes ten guest rooms, shared communal spaces, and a dedicated indoor group room, designed for gatherings, practice, and meditation. Spaces are organized to enhance tranquility, natural light, and a seamless connection between interior and exterior.
The overall approach aims to create a sanctuary for rest and renewal — architecture that does not impose, but invites quiet, balance, and mindful observation.
